1 Some of our books/products are offered 'in affiliation with Amazon.com,' which lets you go directly from our site to Amazon's if you want to buy something. Currently, a lot of states who have budget shortfalls are attempting to make Amazon pay sales taxes in states where they have affiliates. We don't think this will affect us, because we're located in the same state as Amazon. I can actually see a large amazon office building as I write this. It isn't likely to affect us because Amazon already pays taxes in this state, so there'd be no reason for Washington to care.
